Dear Esteemed Colleagues and Members,

We are delighted to welcome you to the Gulf Society for Cardiac Surgery (GSCS), a proud member of the Gulf Heart Association (GHA). Established on December 16, 2023, The society consists of members from 8 regional countries: the 6 GCC countries namely Bahrain, KSA, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and UAE in addition to Iraq and Yemen.

Our mission at GSCS is to promote excellence in cardiac surgery, facilitate professional networking and collaboration among cardiac surgeons in the region, and advance education and research in this critical field. We are committed to the continuous professional development of our members, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances the quality of cardiac care available to patients across our member countries.

Our objectives focus on fostering continuous professional development for cardiac surgeons through educational events, enhancing collaboration and knowledge exchange among healthcare professionals, and supporting research and innovation to improve patient outcomes. We aim to create networking opportunities that lead to better clinical practices and to establish high standards of care to ensure quality treatments across our member countries.

As we embark on this journey together, we look forward to engaging in fruitful activities that will benefit our society and the entire Gulf region. We are confident that through our collective efforts, we will make significant advancements in cardiac surgery and improve the lives of countless patients.
